What’s New in SuperForm

SuperForm has always been about more than collecting information. It helps teams build dynamic, interactive forms that support real business processes, from customer requests and field service to inventory management and HR.
In the past few months, we’ve introduced a range of new features, based on user feedback, that make SuperForm even more flexible, visual, and easier to configure. Here’s what’s new.
Turn Form Submissions into Ready-to-Use PDFs
Forms are great for collecting information, but many processes require PDFs as well as digital form submissions.
With SuperForm’s new convert to PDF feature, every SuperForm submission can automatically create a PDF with the information users provide. Likewise, you can take an existing PDF, upload it to SuperForm, and instantly create a fillable PDF that will populate the relevant fields on your monday.com board.
You can:
- Generate PDFs automatically when forms are submitted
- Upload your own PDF templates
- Map board columns to PDF fields with an easy drag and drop
- Support both flat PDFs and fillable PDFs
- Store completed PDFs directly in a File column or allow users to download them immediately
Use convert to PDF when you’re creating contracts, shipping forms, tax documents, inspection reports, and more.

Let Users Find Exactly What They Need
Many teams use SuperForm to update existing monday.com items. Previously, that often meant creating unique links for every item or asking users to search through long lists.
Update Form Filters solve this problem.
Using a single form link, you can control exactly which items users can access by combining static and dynamic filters.
For example, a field technician can enter their name and today’s date to see only the service tickets assigned to them. An employee can view only their own requests. A parent can update information for only their children.
The result is a cleaner, more secure experience without creating dozens or hundreds of unique form links.

Display Connected Items in Cards and Tables
Choosing connected board items doesn’t have to mean scrolling through a basic dropdown.
SuperForm now lets you display connected items as visual cards or easy to understand tables.
Instead of showing only an item name, you can display:
- Product images
- SKU numbers
- Availability
- Pricing
- Status
- Any other relevant board columns
This makes forms far easier to use for scenarios like:
- Product ordering
- Equipment selection
- Event registration
- Service requests
- Inventory management
These new offerings make it easier for form users to see the information presented and to make the correct selections.

Add Rich Content Inside Your Forms
Forms often need more than questions.
With SuperForm Widgets, you can add rich content throughout your form to provide context and improve the user experience.
Available widgets include:
- Text blocks
- Images
- Videos
- Website embeds
- HTML
- Section dividers

Instead of forcing users to download instructions or open another page, you can provide everything they need directly inside the form. For a full walk through of how to configure SuperForm widgets, click here.
Prefill Default Values
Many forms ask users to enter the same information repeatedly.
Default values allow you to pre-populate fields so users can review or adjust information instead of entering it from scratch.
This is especially useful for inventory transactions, recurring requests, and standardized processes where the same values are used frequently.
Build Complex Forms Faster
We’ve also introduced several improvements that make configuring large forms much easier.
You can now:
- Add new board columns directly from SuperForm
- Select multiple fields using Shift-click
- Search for columns while configuring forms
- Collapse pages to navigate complex forms more easily
These updates reduce configuration time and make managing large forms significantly more efficient.
A Preview of SuperForm AI
We’re also working on the next step in form creation.
SuperForm AI will allow builders to describe the form they want in plain language. Instead of manually creating columns, configuring layouts, and mapping fields, AI will build the form for you.
Our goal is to automate the repetitive setup work so you can focus on designing the process, not configuring every detail.
Build Forms That Support Real Business Processes
Every new SuperForm feature shares the same goal: helping teams move beyond simple data collection.
Whether you’re collecting customer requests, managing inventory, updating service tickets, generating contracts, or building internal workflows, SuperForm gives you the flexibility to create forms that fit the way your business actually works, in a way that will make it easier for form users to complete the form.
