SuperMail tracking provides valuable insights into the performance of both mass and personal emails,. You can track opens, clicks, and more, all directly from your monday.com board, with three efficient convenient ways to get the information you need.
Performance Tracking Using SuperMail Automations
SuperMail Tracking automations allow you to easily track email performance directly from your board, making it ideal for mass emails and sequences. This method provides a quick glance of performance metrics such as email opens, link clicks, and failed sends.
To track SuperMails using automations, make sure you have the following:
- A SuperMail template set up (in any SuperMail editor)
- At least one status column in your board where you want to see email performance data, with label statuses configured to reflect that data you’re looking for (e.g., opened, clicked, failed, replied, or sent).
- Navigate to the Integration Center and search for “SuperMail Tracking.”
- Choose from a list of preconfigured automation recipes such as:
- When a template is opened, set status to “something.”
- When a link is clicked, set status to “something.”
- When a template is opened, set status to “something.”
- Configure as many automation triggers as needed to track different email performance metrics.
- Ensure the automations are turned on. Once triggered, the tracking data will appear in real-time on your board.

- Pro tip: Once you create a list of labels you want to use for tracking, save the column as a template so that you can easily duplicate these labels for tracking emails in other boards.
- Pro tip: Create a dashboard with information from the tracking column/s to view all your SuperMail performance at a glance.
Tracking with SuperMail Dialog
For more granular insights, the SuperMail Dialog view provides detailed interaction data. This tracking option is perfect for monitoring both individual emails and team interactions such as when different team members reply to the same client in a thread.
To track emails using SuperMail Dialog:
- Add the SuperMail Dialog view in the updates section of your monday.com board.
- Click “Item Views,” then “Explore More Views,” and select the SuperMail Dialog view.
- Once the email is sent, the SuperMail Dialog tab will automatically display the email’s performance.
- View who clicked what, when they clicked it, and what options were selected.
- In the SuperMail Dialog view you will also see if a recipient clicked multiple times, or if multiple recipients interacted with the same button.
- View who clicked what, when they clicked it, and what options were selected.
- Note: SuperMail Dialog tracking only works for emails sent via the SuperMail Dialog tab. Emails sent directly via Gmail, Outlook, or other services, will not show in the SuperMail Dialog tab.

SuperMail Tracking Tab
For a broader, audit-style view, the SuperMail tracking tab lets you track all email-related activities and workflows.
The tab displays a full activity trail, including email sends, opens, and clicks, providing a complete history of all actions tied to your emails. This is also the best place for troubleshooting, as you can see at a glance if an email wasn’t sent properly.
- Navigate to the SuperMail tab.
- Click on the Tracking tab.

- There you will see a full list of emails sent and their performance.

Choose the SuperMail Tracking method that fits your workflow best, and you’ll never be left wondering what happened after you hit “send.”
