Save Time By Automating Your Email Workflows
Managing RSVPs usually means a long list of small, time consuming tasks: drafting emails, setting up proper RSVP tracking columns, waiting for replies, updating statuses, and following up repeatedly. Each step is simple on its own, but together they slow everything down.
By using monday Sidekick’s AI together with SuperMail, teams convert that entire process into a faster, cleaner, automated flow. Sidekick handles the heavy lifting including filtering your email lists, creating the proper tracking columns, and sending the emails using SuperMail, then updating the right columns when replies come in.
This use case shows how teams invite a specific group of people and track RSVPs directly inside monday.com, so planning stays focused on the event, not on managing responses.
Once you understand the flow, you can use the same approach for approvals, confirmations, and any process where an email response should update your board automatically.
The Challenge
Before Sidekick, sending RSVP emails with SuperMail required many steps:
- Adding a new Status column for RSVPs
- Creating an email template in SuperMail
- Manually designing the email and adding an RSVP button
- Configuring an integration trigger
- Filtering the right audience
- Sending the messages
If you’re dealing with hundreds of recipients, that process can take a long time.
When Sidekick is connected to SuperMail, you can do all of this with a single prompt. Sidekick builds the structure, filters the right people, and runs the action automatically.
The Solution
Connect SuperMail to Sidekick
In order to be able to use SuperMail and Sidekick together, you must first connect the apps.
This can be done by clicking the small shapes icon at the bottom of the Sidekick message center, and toggling on the SuperMail connection.

Write Your Sidekick Prompt
In monday.com, use Sidekick with a prompt like:
Use SuperMail to email all C-level attendees with the attached invitation.
Allow people to confirm attendance in a personalized email and update their RSVP in a new board column.
In this example, Sidekick will:
- Create a new RSVP Status column
- Identify and filter the correct attendees
- Create a SuperMail email template
- Embed a personalized RSVP button
- Prepare to send the messages
You’ll be able to confirm the email before sending.
