Inventory is a full-service solution designed to help you track and manage your stock in real time. To help you get started with ease, we’ve put together a short user guide so you can learn in the way that suits you best.

Add Products to Your Catalog

  • Note: The Inventory free plan is limited up to 10 products, the template will be automatically populated with 3 test products, you can edit them to suit your needs.

There are two ways to add products to your catalog in Inventory: manually or via Excel upload.

  • To add products manually: Click ‘Add New Product’ in the upper left corner and fill out the form. Repeat as needed for each additional item you want to add.

  • To import from Excel
    • Go to the products board and export it.
    • Edit it with all the products you would like to import and re-import the sheet to your monday.com board.

How to Update Stock

  • In the catalog, click Update Stock to adjust quantities for specific products.
  • Use the checkboxes to select items, then adjust quantities with the + or – buttons. Scroll down and click Next to continue.
  • Fill out the update details, and hit Update Stock to save changes

How to See Your Stock in the Transactions Board

  • Track all stock updates on the transactions board, which logs every change by product. The board can be found in the lefthand navigation on your monday.com board.
  • Note: If you use an external system to manage your transactions, you can easily integrate it into monday.com using an integration or API. All you have to do is make sure the “Transaction” board gets populated and the rest of the magic will work on its own.

How to Customize Your Catalog View

  • Go to Settings in the dashboard.​
  • Tailor the catalog to your needs by choosing which fields to display or hide.
